It was cloudy first thing which made it furry nice but then the sun came out and we started panting. Thank dogness Dad had set up the umbrella for some shade.
There were lots of peoples with doggies on the beach. We didn't like it so much when they sat close to us or came over. We had to protect Mommy, who wasn't feeling 100%. Mom says we aren't normally that fussy but we don't know what she's talking about. We were just talking and letting 'em know what's what. Geez.
Mom took this shortly after we got there. You can tell it was still pretty early and a bit cloudy.
Handsome boy!
Beautiful girl!
We love laying in the sand. Lexi really likes rolling in it and sprawling out flat on it!
See!
That girls loves her some sand. Remember when she loved it so much she ate it? Mom wouldn't let her even try this time.
More sand-bathing.
Watching some peoples.
Some friends kept peeking out of their holes at us.

Another view after the sun came out. We love laying in the sunshine!

These doggies were sitting near us. Their hoomans let them off their leashes even though they weren't supposed to!

It's hot out here!

Watching the waves.

Snuggling on Mama's towel & cover-up.

Before we decided to leave, Dad walked us out to the water. We don't really like the water chasing us furry much but we wouldn't mind it so much if it would stay still!

Please excuse our Daddy's glaring lack of a suntan. He gets red furry easy and get the ouchies so he puts on lots of white stuff and stays out of the sun.

Time to go back to Mama. Coming Mom!

After a few hours of sunning on the beach we left to go home. Mom didn't feel furry good that morning and was hoping the sun would make her feel better but it didn't. We tried to nap on our 2 minute drive home but it just wasn't long enough. We were bushed! But, we did snuggle with Mom when we got back. It was bath day so we had to get a bath and then we snuggled with Mom in the living room and tried to make her feel better. But no worries, she is all better now.
We had lots of fun spending time with Mom and Dad at the beach. Oh and guess who we saw there! Ms. Donna from Hairy Winston! She came up right before we left. As soon as we heard her call our names we went running for her. We luff her furry much! We hope we get to see her at the beach again!
P.S. Don't forget about the Dog Swap going on over at Wyldechylde! Go by and pay Sprinkles a visit to learn all about it. The deadline to sign up is May 12th so HURRY!

Woo-hoo! It looks like you guys had a wonderful time, Roman Noodle loves the beach also. We spent the last week in the mountains, I think we now deserve a beach week. :)
Oh how I wish there was a beach near me! But what I wish for even more is that it was actually warm enough to go to the beach. It's been a chilly spring. We'll have a few warmer days here and there to tease us but it always turns cold again. Boo!
Pawsome - looks like so much fun. You are lucky ...
we don't have warm enough weather to visit the beach over an hour away.
