Not So Wordless Wednesday

We have been very silent over the last few weeks so we decided not to participate in Wordless Wednesday so that we can catch ya'll up! Our Dad is doing a lot better. He has a rough time with his tummy for a while but he and Mom are getting it under control. Mom had to put him on a special diet. BOL! Not to lose weight or anything but to keep his tummy from hurting.

Our step-granddad has been in and out of the hospital. A lot has been going on with his health. We hope that he gets better soon because he has been practically living in the hospital.

Mom is doing good. She's been pretty busy lately at work and at home but her health seems to be holding pretty well. Aside from those nasty head owies she gets she is doing great.

We are both doing good. Bentley had a little bit of an upset tummy this week (doing a lot of licking and swallowing, licking and swallowing) probably from eating so darn fast. He inhales food like a vacuum cleaner! Mommy made it all better though and now he is A-okay. He also had a little bruise (or possibly a carpet burn) on his (hairless) chest that we're not sure where it came from, but it is all gone now too.

We have been trying to enjoy this nice warm weather we are having. It's almost Chihuahua weather! Yay! We have been basking in the sunshine coming through the windows and taking Mom and Dad for walks around the neighborhood. Of course we have been visiting Hairy Winston too!

Back around Lexi's birthday we popped in to Hairy Winston. We needed more bully sticks. We started out with the 6" bully sticks but were chewing through them pretty quickly. Mom said that we were wasting too much of it because she had to take it from us when it got to a certain length so we wouldn't swallow it and choke on it. So then she went to the 12" bully sticks. We had to maneuver a little in the beginning to learn how to hold and chew it, but we quickly got the hang of it. Then those bully sticks lasted us two weeks (we only get them when the hoomans are eating) but lately they have been only lasting a week or less. So Daddy decided it might not hurt to try the Mango-sized (3 ft) bully sticks. Mom hoped we would each chew an end so they didn't have to cut it, but of course we were having NONE of that. We tried, of course, but it just didn't work for us. So Dad cut it in half and we each enjoy our own 18" bully stick. Of course we never finish our bully sticks at the same time so one of us always gets to chew the new big (uncut) bully stick for a day or two. Lexi usually takes on that job.

We thought Mango would get a kick out of this so we wanted to post some pictures.

We have been making our way through all of your blog posts that we were behind on. We are nearly caught up! Yay! So we look forward to coming around and commenting very soon. We have missed ya'll!

We know we have some awards that we are WAY overdue on posting so we are going to try and get those posted soon. We think Mom may have lost some of the earlier ones so if we miss anyone, we apologize now, but we told her she had to go back and try to find them so our furiends wouldn't be upset with us. Hopefully she'll be finished with that soon and can help us get all of them posted. Thanks to everyone who gave us awards! :)

Oh and Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hey! That is a Mango sized bully stick! I hardly ever get those anymore because I like to swallow them too (of course in my case it just goes right through).

My Grandpa is on a special diet for his tummy. And he says Grandma never makes him any foodables that taste good anymore. But his doctor said if it tastes good it will probobly make his tummy hurt. Poor guy.

Good to see your small selves!

So happy that you all are on the way to health! Also so happy that you are all BACK!

Again you are both so funny, did you hoomans come up with using the couch to help you chew or was it all Lexus? BOL

Come on over and pick up your award!!!

Hugs, Tessa
