We're Back!!!

Yep, that's right. We're back in business! BOL. We hope we are back for a long while too. As you know things have been nutso at our house lately but seem to be finally returning back to normal.
Our Dad is feeling much better. He is almost back to his old self again. He is back at work which is good and bad because he isn't home to stay and play with us! But we are furry glad he is feeling better.

Our step-grandad's surgery on Thursday went well. We are hoping he will get to go home this week. Meanwhile we still have Rascal at our house and Mom isn't very happy with him. Well, to be honest neither are we. We like playing with him and all but he has been at our house for two weeks now and is wearing out his welcome as far as we are concerned. It is definitely time for him to go home with his Mommy. We are sure he misses her too.

We had a furry nice weekend. On Saturday we got to go to Hairy Winston. And guess who we saw there?! Rigby!!!! We were furry excited to see our furiend again. His Mom bought him a new hat that is super cute but he doesn't seem to like it furry much. We probably wouldn't either if Mom put that thing on our heads. Mom forgot her camera so no pictures. We told her she should have taken a picture with her fancy little phone but she totally spaced. Oh well. Maybe we can get a picture the next time we see him or get one from his Mommy.

We had a nice time playing with Rigby, hanging out with Sophie (Winston stayed at home), and giving lovin' to Miss Jennie and Miss Chris. Miss Chris had her JRT Lucy there. We like Lucy A LOT better than we like Jewels. Lucy is furry calm and furry nice. Jewels is just too all over the place and hyper for us most of the time.

The hoomans were hungry so we had to get our bully sticks and go home. Mom and Dad went by some chicken place for lunch but didn't give us any! The nerve! Now tell us how is THAT fair? The rest of the day on Saturday we just hung out with Mom and Dad. It was nice. Dad really needed the rest and don't tell Mom we said this, but we think she did too.

Here are a few pictures of us from Saturday night.

Mom didn't fix my eyes in this picture because she thought it was such a nice blue. My eyes always come out blue with the flashie on!

Mom said this is too funny not to post. I say what's wrong with it? I was telling Mom I was over all these darn pictures. BOL!

Sunday was cleaning day. Which means that the big ole machine that makes all that noise came out. He mostly hides away in the spare bedroom (we think because he is scared of Bentley's ferociousness) but he came out on Sunday and was chasing Mom all around the house! Mom doesn't like it when we fuss at the big machine so we try not to but we don't like it chasing Mom around. Bentley was very good and didn't fuss at it or try to scare it. Mom was very proud of him.

Part of cleaning day is clean sheet day! This is the best day of the week! There is nothing better than snuggling up with Mommy and Daddy on nice clean, crisp sheets! But before we got to enjoy the sheets, Rascal had an oopsie after Mom took the dirty sheets off the bed. Mom had just put the dirty sheets in the wash and was getting ready to put the extra set of clean sheets on the bed when she smelled something. (Mom has a super duper smeller. She knows the instant we have used our potty pads!) When she looked she and Dad saw Rascal finishing up his business on the bed. Of course Mom was upset because he has been peeing and pooping all over the house since he got there, but when she checked and realized the mattress pad actually IS waterproof and the peepee didn't get through to the new mattresses, she wasn't quite as perturbed as before. But we can tell that she is ready for things to go back to normal around our house.

We aren't sure when Rascal will get to go home but we do hope it is soon! We just can't continue sharing Mommy and Daddy with him! For a weekend or a week we don't mind it (although we are usually exhausted when he finally goes home), but two weeks is a little much, even for us.

After cleaning Mom and Dad had to run out and grab one last thing for our Superbowl party. When they got back it was time to start preparing everything. The hoomans got to eat grilled chicken wings with hot Hooter's Sauce, parmesan potato wedges, and guacomole with pita chips! Did we get any???? Of course not. The hoomans refuse to share their food with us. But we did get our own food and got to much on bully sticks for a while, so I guess it was okay. Oh and Mom was drinking this funny-looking thing.

Here are some pictures of us from when Mom was cleaning. She couldn't help put pick up the flashy beast and take pictures. Moms!

Mom did manage to take the flashy beast outside with us at one point during the day.

Then it was time for some snuggles in the blanket while Mom and Dad were fixing the foodables.

Watching them make the chicken wings. Yummy!

Looking at Mom after she called my name. I was waiting for Dad to drop something in the kitchen!

Trying to sweet-talk Dad into giving me some foodables from his plate.

Snuggling in Mom's blanket.

Rascal sitting with OUR Daddy. :(

All-in-all it was a furry good weekend. And yes, we DID enjoy our clean sheet night last night!
Tomorrow we will be having a celebration! Tomorrow is Lexus' 2nd birthday! Mom said we are going to have some yummy food and treats to celebrate. It will just be us and maybe Rascal. We may have another celebration with furiends this weekend but Mom and Dad are going to be furry busy this weekend so Mom said we'd have to see. In any case, as long as there is food involved we are happy!
Don't forget to stop by tomorrow and wish Lexus a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
