Honorable Mentions

Yesterday we got some good news! It definitely brightened Mom's day and it helped brighten ours too! When Mom checked the Pampered Puppy website she saw that two of our photos got Honorable Mentions in the January Photo Contest! The first picture is on page 10 and the second picture is on page 12. I don't think you guys have seen the second picture yet because we were holding it back until the contest was over. (Mom wanted us to let you know that both photos are unedited. Mom is going to frame those photos since they are two of her favorites and will be doing some photo-editing to make them "pop". She promises to let us share the final results with our furiends.)

We also wanted to let you all know that our Dad is starting to feel better. He went to the hooman vet today and everything checked out ok. They gave him some medicine and sent him back home. Mom says he's probably going back to work tomorrow. That's no fun for us but we know he needs to go back to work to help buy our foodables, toys, treats, clothes, etc. So we don't mind too terribly much. But boy has it been fun having Daddy home with us all day for 4 extra days the last two weeks!

Our step-grandad is going to have another surgery tomorrow. There is something wrong with his insides and Mom says they are twisted. They need to do the surgery to fix him and make him better. After that he will have to wait at least 5 days before he can go home. Furiends, we appreciate all the good thoughts you have been sending this way and would appreciate it if you would continue to send them while our step-grandad is having his surgery.

We hope that we will be back to blogging regularly soon, once all this craziness for us is over. We have fallen horribly behind and have been trying desperately to catch up. We apologize for not commenting on each and every blog but we ARE reading them. We are just so behind that we are just now reading posts from last week. :( Mom says life HAS to calm down soon!
